BBQ Cook Off
Fat City Brew & BBQ and Klinker Brick Winery present our first BBQ Cookoff – May 17th, 11 AM - 5 PM. Get ready for a day of delicious BBQ and great fun at Klinker Brick Winery on May 17th! From 11 AM to 5 PM, enjoy mouthwatering BBQ, live music, and a lively atmosphere as talented competitors battle it out for top honors. Music will fill the air with tunes from Big Earl and The Crying Shame from 1 PM to 4 PM, setting the perfect backdrop for this tasty event. In addition to the BBQ competition, you’ll find extra food available for purchase and a variety of shopping vendors showcasing unique goods.
Tickets are $25 or $20 for wine club members. Paid tickets include 5 rib tickets to sample some of the finest BBQ around, 1 People’s Choice token to cast your vote for the best BBQ, and 1 drink ticket. Kids 10 and under get in free.*However, parents must purchase rib tickets for them as it is not included in the free ticket. Looking for more BBQ? Additional rib tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
If you think you have what it takes to compete, entry into the BBQ Cookoff is just $150. Your entry fee includes 3 racks of ribs for the People’s Choice competition and the chance to be judged in the KCBS-standard categories of ribs and chicken. Competitors must bring their own meat for judging. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, so bring your best BBQ game! Please note this is a non-sanctioned cook off. If you're entering the competition, any additional racks of ribs for peoples choice will need to be purchased through us.
